2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sports Review – Mitsubishi has spruced up the Outlander Sport to help keep it looking a bit fresher along with the new Eclipse Cross. The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport will debut at the New York auto show with a couple of interior and exterior updates.
The automaker has redesigned the front and rear bumpers of the Outlander Sport, also adding new LED operating lamps. Inside the cabin, the Outlander Sport receives the 7-inch Mobile Phone Website link display from the larger sized Outlander. This infotainment system, which facilitates Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, is a step up from the 6.1-inch and 6.5-inch screens presented on the current 2017 Outlander Sport.
Other updates consist of a redesigned shift lever, recently developed floor gaming console, and an Alloy Silver color task. Purchasers are now able to choose for a Touring package, which bundles a breathtaking roofing, NVH upgrades for a quieter trip, and a host of safety features such as automatic high beam, lane departure warning, and rear camera collectively.
The compact crossover provides a selection of two engines. A 2.0-liter inline four produces 148 hp and 145 lb-ft of torque while a 2.4-liter inline four makes 168 hp and 167 lb-ft of torque. After debuting following seven days in New York, the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport will go on sale this fall in the U.S.
